Tenshukaku Observation Deck (30 minutes)

The observation area at Shiroyama castle keep is one of the best places to overlook the gassho style houses gathered below in the settlement of Ogi-machi.
Shirakawago Village (150minutes)

The beautiful village of Shirakawago was designated UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995.

This area is well preserved the historic atmosphere and has four distinct seasons each it’s own beauty.

*Gasshozukuri Minkaen Outdoor Museum is located near the seseragi parking.

Gokayama Ainokura Village (60 minutes)

23 Gassho-style houses exist in Ainokura.

These have created a nostalgic scenery along with farm lands, stone walls, and snow break forests.

In this district, there are Ainokura Folklore Museum, Gassho-style Inns, and souvenir shops.
