  2. *You can take the return bus at anytime you like. (Open-seating only)

Itinerary

  • Receive Ticket at Takayama Bus Terminal （8:35）

    Please pick up your  ticket at Takayama Bus Terminal with the reference number.

    ※Wear rental 1,000yen (Reservation required)

    ※Please come to the ticket counter 15 minutes before.

  • Takayama Bus Terminal（8:50）

    Please take an express bus to Shirakawago at Takayama Bus Terminal #4.

    It takes about 50 minutes bus trip!

     

  • Arrive at Shirakawago Bus Terminal（9:40）

    Please get off the bus at Shirakawago Bus Terminal.

    The staff of TOYOTA Shirakawa-Go Eco-Institute are waiting at the bus terminal.

    ※Transportation between Shirakawago Bus Terminal to TOYOTA Shirakawa-Go Eco-Institute will be via shuttle vehicle (10 minutes).

  • Arrive at TOYOTA Shirakawa-Go Eco-Institute

    The fee of Snowshoe and rubber boots are including in the tour.

    ※Please prepare warm clothing, gloves or beanie for protection against cold. 

     

  • Snowshoeing Experience

    Experience walking on the fresh snow!

    Inside the forest, a fantastic scenery awaits, from sparkling glaciers to the tracks of wild animals, that are only able to be seen in this season.

    Well experienced guide will gently guide you, so even first-timers of snowshoeing can participate with ease.

     

  • World Heritage 'Shirakawago' (Free Time)

    After snowshoeing tour, you  will take a pick-up car and arrive  at Shirakawago Village.

    You are free to walk around the village until bus departure.

    Shirakawago 13:15 →　Takayama 14:05  (non-reserved)

    Shirakawago 15:15 →　Takayama 16:05  (non-reserved)

    Shirakawago 16:15 →　Takayama 17:20  (non-reserved)

    *You can take the following buses for return at anytime you like. (Open-seating only)

    Shirakawago 17:30 →　Takayama 18:35  (non-reserved)

  • Arrive at Takayama

Remarks

・Bus ticket can be used for non reserved seat on Takayama~Shirakawago Line.
・No guide and conductor in this tour.
・Snowshoeing tour takes about 45 minutes.
・Snowshoe and rubber boots are included in the tour fee. Please prepare gloves, beanie and warm clothing on your own.
・Waterproof jacket and pants available at 1,000 yen(on-site payment). Please book it in advance and pay it on the day. (Waterproof jacket and pants are not enough warm.)
・Events may be cancelled due to a lack of snow.
★Please make a reservation one day before (12 pm) in advance.
