    This plan requires advance reservations. Reservations can be made on this page.

    The confirmation email sent upon completion of your reservation may be required for verification on the day of use. Please keep it in a safe place until your visit.

  • Registration at Takayama Nohi Bus Terminal

    This plan requires ticket exchange before use.

    On the day of use, please proceed to the ticket counter inside the Takayama Nohi Bus Center to exchange your ticket. We will provide you with the necessary tickets and information.

    Please board the bus from Bus Stop ⑦ at the Takayama Nohi Bus Center.

    The bus departs at 8:05 AM. Please arrive at Bus Stop ⑦ with plenty of time before departure.

  • Take the "Okuhida Mountain Bus" to Shinhotaka Ropeway

    Take the open-top “Okuhida Mountain Bus” to Shinhotaka Ropeway!

    Onboard, staff from the Okuhida Onsengo Tourist Association’s member ryokans will introduce you to the history, culture, and more of Okuhida.

  • Board the Shinhotaka Ropeway

    Arrive at Shinhotaka Ropeway! Board the 2nd Ropeway.
    Enjoy the panoramic view of the Northern Alps from an elevation of 2,156 meters!

    * Due to renovation work at Nishi-Hotakaguchi Station (Shinhotaka Ropeway), the rooftop observation deck will be closed until July 18th (Fri). During this period, the “Summit Forest” area will be accessible, so please enjoy the views of the Northern Alps from “Yari no Kairō” (Spear Corridor) and “Nishi-Hotaka no Odoriba” (Nishi-Hotaka Dance Floor).

  • Take a local bus to Takayama Nohi Bus Terminal.

    Please take a local bus for your return trip.Click here1for the timetable.
    *You may board at your preferred time, but as all seats on the bus are unreserved, you may not be able to board at your desired time during peak hours. Thank you for your understanding.

    *If using a local bus, please board from the bus stop in front of Shinhotaka Ropeway/Shinhotaka Onsen Station.

  • ★ Option ★ You can also take the "Okuhida Mountain Bus" for your return trip!

    With the optional return, you can also ride the “Okuhida Mountain Bus”.

Remarks

・ No tour conductor will accompany the tour.
・ If using a local bus for the return trip, please note that reservations are not accepted. Depending on the congestion, you may not be able to board at your desired time. Please allow ample time for your journey.
・ Lunch is not included in this tour.

For your return trip, if you are using the local bus, please board at the bus stop in front of Shinhotaka Ropeway / Shinhotaka Onsen Station.
If you are using the "Okuhida Mountain Bus," please board at Shinhotaka Ropeway / Shirakaba-daira Station.
Please note that the boarding/alighting location differs depending on the bus you use.
