Hida-Osaka, located at the foot of Mt.Ontake with an elevation of 3067m.
The great of nature of Mt.Ontake created Gandate,Vast forested wilderness and More than 200 waterfalls.
This plan is a 3-hour hiking course with a local guide, exploring Mitsutaki Falls, Gandate Park, the Lava Plateau Forest, Akaganetoyo Falls, and Karatani Falls.

  • Take the route bus to Osaka-cho bus stop.

    Please board the designated route bus and get off at the “Osaka-cho bus stop”.
    A guide will be waiting for you at the Osaka-cho bus stop to take you on a tour of Hida-Osaka WaterFalls.
    A guide will take you to Gandate Park (the starting point of the Hida-Osaka Waterfalls Tour).

  • Exploring Hida-Osaka Falls with a local guide!

    Enjoy exploring Hida-Osaka Falls with a local guide.
    (Walking distance approximately 5km, time required approximately 3 hours.)

    After visiting the waterfalls, please enjoy yourself by strolling around Gandate Park.
    When the time is up, your guide will take you to the bus stop.

  • Take the return bus from Osaka-cho bus stop

    Please take the route bus from Osaka-cho bus stop on your way back.
    Please be careful not to board the wrong bus.

  • Get off at Takayama Nohi Bus Terminal or Gero Station.

Remarks

・Please wear comfortable clothes (long sleeves, long pants) and comfortable shoes.
・In case of bad weather, the tour may be canceled.
・This course does not include lunch. Please prepare your own if necessary.
・A tour conductor will not accompany you. A guide will be waiting for you at the Osaka-cho bus stop and will show you around Hida-Osaka Falls. Please note that you may be guided in a group with other customers.
・We will arrange a guide after making your reservation. Therefore, it may take some time to complete your reservation.
・Reservations are accepted for parties of two or more.
