Illumination of Subzero Forest
The “Illumination of Subzero Forest”, a winter feature, is an ice forest created by spraying water on the trees in the forest that has been taken place by the isolated mountain Inn “Akigami Onsen Ryokan” since 1971.
Enjoy the magical scenery you can only experience in the sub-zero world!
*It gets very cold on-site. There are no bus waiting areas, so please come prepared with adequate protection against the cold. (The estimated visit duration is approximately 90 minutes.)
*Please wear shoes with good traction.

During the event, Café Crystal House is open right next to the venue.
Enjoy stunning views of the sub-zero forest from the warmth of our café. Please stop by!
Depart from Akigami Onsen Bus Stop
The return bus will depart from Akigami Onsen bus stop at 7:50 PM.
※Buses will leave on time. Please allow yourself plenty of time for your departure.
Arrive at Takayama Bus Terminal.
Return to Takayama.

Remarks
・Reservation is required.
・Online bookings can be made until 12:00 PM on the travel date. After 12:00 PM, please directly go to the Takayama Nohi Bus ticket office or call Nohi Bus to purchase a ticket.
・Buses will not operate if there is no booking by 5:00 PM on the travel date.
・Buses will leave on time. Please allow yourself plenty of time for your departure.
・Itineraries may be delayed depending on unforeseen circumstances.
・Bus attendants or guides will not accompany the tour.
・The weather will be cold at night. Warm outfits against the extreme cold and slip-resistant shoes are recommended when you join the tour.

・This course utilizes regularly scheduled bus services, so the outbound and return buses on weekdays will be different vehicles.
・The outbound bus will return to the depot (out of service) after arriving at Akigami Hot Spring.
Therefore, there will be no place to leave your luggage or rest while you are staying at Akigami Hot Spring.
The return bus is scheduled to pick you up at the Akigami Hot Spring bus stop at approximately 7:40 PM (19:40).
However, please be aware that the bus may be delayed due to road conditions, such as heavy snowfall.
