Using the Trunk: Highway buses and some sightseeing route buses are equipped with a luggage compartment (trunk) under the bus.

For Highway and Express buses, rules vary depending on the operating company. Please contact the bus operator of your specific route directly to confirm.
Local Buses:
Some local buses are wheelchair accessible. However, on Highway and Express buses, you may not be able to
board while staying in your wheelchair. Please contact the relevant bus office by the day before your travel to consult on your specific needs.
Sightseeing-style Buses:
Due to the structure of sightseeing-style buses, you cannot board while staying in your wheelchair. In such cases, we will store your wheelchair in the trunk, and you will need to be able to move to a bus seat on your own.
Highway & Express Buses:
Policies vary depending on the operating company. Please contact the bus operator for your specific route directly to confirm their requirements.
If you lose your ticket, you will need to purchase a new one. Please pay the fare again to the driver or at the ticket counter. We will issue a “Certificate of Re-purchase,” and if the original ticket is found later, a refund can be processed (minus a handling fee).
Buses on the Shinjuku, Nagoya, Kyoto/Osaka, and Gifu highway lines are equipped with on-board restrooms.
Local buses and other routes do not have restrooms on board.
【Please Note】
