Bus service to Shirakawago Illumination Bus Tour has ended the 2020.
Nohi Bus will offer the annually-popular limited-time “Shirakawago Illumination Bus Tour” this year too.
Shirakawago is a settlement where “Gassho Zukuri” houses are built. It is registered as a world heritage site.
The Shirakawago Illumination event is held for six (6) days only during the most beautiful season of the year
when snow piles up to approximately 2 meters.
Please ride this bus and enjoy the fantastic scenery which emerges from the white snow.

・Shirakawago illumination display event cannot be observed on the fixed-route bus. Please use the above sightseeing bus from Takayama.
January 11 (Mon), 17 (Sun), 24 (Sun), 31 (Sun) and
February 7 (Sun) and 14 (Sun) of 2021.
The tour will be held for a total of six (6) days.
Snacks of Hida Beef skewers and croquettes, and a traditional cuisine meal are included. This is a high-satisfaction plan where you can also take in the sight of the illumination of the entire Gassho-zukuri housing area.

・Please reserve your seat as soon as possible as there is a limit on sales.
・A maximum of 6 people will be allowed upon one reservation.
・Transit to the observatory will be via tour bus. The visitation time at the observatory will be scheduled for 80 minutes, but this time may be shortened due to overcrowding. We ask for your cooperation.
This is a gorgeous tour by which you can see both the Gassho zukuri houses of the world heritage Shirakwago in twilight and the illusionary Illumination show together.

This is a special plan where you can take in the majestic scenery of the illumination of the Gasshou zukuri housing of Shirakawago surrounded by snow from the observation deck. This includes shuttle tickets to the observation deck and a snack of Hida Beef croquettes.

・The ascent to the observation deck will be by shuttle bus, but the descent will be on foot ( about 30 minutes). This is a very slippery snowy road. Please wear appropriate shoes.
This is a bus tour that takes you to the ultimate scenic spot where the the illumination of Shirakawago can be seen. Entrance to the Gasshou-zukuri private housing is also included, where you can observe the interior of the buildings. Illumination of the private housing gardens can also be seen.
