Check-in at the Takayama Nohi Bus Center Tour Desk

Please arrive at the Takayama Nohi Bus Center Tour Desk (located next to JR Takayama Station) at least 15 minutes before departure.
Board the bus bound for Shirakawago at Bus Stop No. 4.

Hirase Onsen Bus Stop

Depart from Takayama Nohi Bus Center, travel via Shirakawa-go, and arrive at the Hirase Onsen bus stop.
From the bus stop, please walk to Shiramizu-no-yu (approx. 10 minutes on foot).

Arrive at Oshirakawa Onsen Shiramizu-no-Yu

Shiramizu-no-Yu is a natural hot spring day-use facility located just a 15-minute drive from the World Heritage site, Shirakawa-go.
Enjoy a relaxing time with hot springs and dining surrounded by lush greenery.


Early entry is available starting from 10:30 AM, 30 minutes earlier than standard opening hours.

Shiramizu-no-Yu: Natural Free-Flowing Hot Spring

Oshirakawa Onsen, flowing abundantly from the foot of the sacred Mt. Hakusan, has long been cherished as the “Spring of Fertility.
” Known for its skin-beautifying effectsa favorite for women-it warms you deep to the core.
We take pride in being a day-trip hot spring with 100% natural, free-flowing source water.

After bathing, enjoy lunch at the dining area "Moure."

Please present your meal ticket at the on-site restaurant “Moure.”
You may choose between the Hida Beef Tendon Stew Set Meal or the Kei-chan (Seasoned Chicken) Set Meal.

Made with premium Hida Beef. This specialty set meal features richly flavored, slow-cooked tender beef.
Includes Shirakawa-go’s famous “Suttate-jiru”!
A local delicacy made from “Suttate” (mashed soybeans).
This traditional dish offers the concentrated sweetness and umami of soybeans, with a creamy texture similar to a Japanese-style potage.

Selectable lunch menu ②:The Kei-chan (Seasoned Chicken) Set Meal.

A local Gifu specialty loved for its chicken and cabbage stir-fried in a garlic-based sauce.
The well-seasoned chicken pairs perfectly with steamed rice.
This meal also includes “Suttate-jiru.”

From Hirase Onsen Bus Stop to Shirakawa-go

Walk from Shiramizu-no-Yu to the bus stop and head to Shirakawa-go!

Explore the World Heritage Site, Shirakawa-go

Shirakawa-go was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1995.

With over 100 gassho-zukuri farmhouses still standing today, you can enjoy scenery that feels like stepping back in time into the world of a traditional folktale.

You can take a bus at your preferred time to return to Takayama.

The return journey also takes approximately one hour.
