Feel the breath of spring in Hida at Sakurano Park, a premier cherry blossom destination! (Approx. 30 min.)
Legend has it that the park’s history began when cherry blossom saplings were brought and transplanted here from Mount Yoshino in the ancient Province of Yamato.
With approximately 150 cherry trees in full bloom, this stunning site has been officially recognized as one of the “33 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Hida and Mino.”

【April 19 & 20 Only】 Furukawa Festival Special Bus Operat! (11:40 AM – 2:40 PM / Additional 1,000 yen)
The Furukawa Festival is a world-renowned tradition, designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property.
As the annual festival of Keta Wakamiya Shrine, it centers on the ancient “Mikoshi (Portable Shrine) Procession.
” This grand event is defined by two contrasting spectacles: the high-energy “Okoshi-daiko” representing “action,” and the elegant “Yatai Procession” representing “stillness.”
The festivities unfold over two spectacular days on April 19 and 20.
(Please note: The Okoshi-daiko performance is not included in this tour.)
